As a Software Engineer, Alicia now plays a key role in keeping our financial forms accurate, efficient, and ready to roll. With her sharp eye for detail and passion for progress, she’s helping to power the systems that keep everything moving behind the scenes.
From Opportunity to Ownership
Alicia didn’t set out to join the auto industry, but when a manager at DealerBuilt recognized her talent and drive, the decision to take a leap was an easy one.
“I didn’t have experience in the auto industry, but the idea of a new journey and the knowledge I could gain was intriguing. So I thought, ‘why not?’ and jumped onboard.”
That leap turned into a career where she’s now a trusted expert in managing data and programming financial forms.
What a Day Looks Like: Data, Detail, and Delivery
As a Software Engineer, Alicia manages a highly specialized and essential part of the DealerBuilt product. Her day-to-day includes:
- Managing financial forms data using SQL queries
- Coordinating vendor reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Programming financial forms to ensure accuracy and functionality
The process involves multiple steps to make sure everything is submitted on time and meets every requirement, and Alicia thrives on putting the pieces together.
“I always enjoy watching things come together. In all parts of my role, I get to see that happen regularly.”

Alicia wasn’t even looking for a new role when the opportunity at DealerBuilt came her way. But thanks to the encouragement of someone who believed in her fit for the team, she took the chance, and hasn’t looked back.
“It has turned out to be such a blessing. I wasn’t looking, but I’m so glad I said yes.”

Outside the office, Alicia is all about living fully and connecting deeply. Whether she’s at the field cheering on her sons or exploring the outdoors, she’s making every moment count.

- Hosting BBQs and enjoying live music
- Traveling and spontaneous adventures
