With a strong background in dealership operations and deep product knowledge, Tracy Callahan, Solutions Engineer, plays a critical role at DealerBuilt: bridging the gap between product, support, sales, and the customer experience.
Each day is a blend of technical support, product expertise, and strategic insight. Whether it’s demonstrating the accounting module in Lightyear, showcasing add-ons like Global Pay and DealerBuilt’s BI tool, or diving into client-reported issues, Tracy is hands-on in helping both clients and internal teams.
Key focus areas include:

Product Demos: Leading accounting-focused demos for Lightyear and related add-ons

Tier 3 Support: Deep dives into customers needs to make recommendations on configurations, processes, solutions, and/or training

Subject Matter Expertise: Assistance with accounting and foundational solution questions that can be answered in the moment while the Performance Manager is still onsite for partnership meetings.

Sales Enablement: Partnering with the sales team on user audits, product reviews, and account deep-dives
What drew Tracy to the role? A passion for sharing dealership expertise to help others succeed. After using Lightyear firsthand and hearing dealership feedback as a former Performance Manager, she saw a chance to make a broader impact by ensuring dealerships stay up to date with the tools and training they need to thrive.
The fast pace of the auto industry keeps things fresh.

Above all, what drives them is simple: Helping people. Whether it’s a fellow team member, a dealership in need of guidance, or a sales rep looking for context.

When the workday ends, Tracy enjoys life on her recently purchased barndominium. A cozy retreat on four acres where weekends are filled with home projects and family gatherings. It’s her version of paradise, built from the ground up and shared with the people she loves most.
