As an Implementation Specialist for iService at DealerBuilt, Gabriel isn’t just setting up software, he’s setting teams up for long-term success.
Whether he’s training advisors on how to close more repair orders, showing technicians how to shoot better walk-around videos, or walking managers through client communication best practices, Gabriel is driven by one thing: helping dealership teams become better than they were yesterday.
Hands-On Support from Day One
Gabriel’s work centers around implementation, training, and ongoing client support. He’s the go-to guide for dealerships onboarding iService and a trusted partner even after the initial install.
Here’s what a typical day looks like:

Installing iService platforms at new dealerships

Hosting job-specific training sessions for advisors, techs, parts staff, and managers

Serving as the primary contact for newly onboarded stores, helping drive adoption and retention

From Hospitality to the Service Lane
Gabriel’s journey into the automotive space wasn’t a straight shot. He originally studied hotel and restaurant leadership and worked for brands like Disney, Hilton, and Marriott. But when COVID hit, he pivoted, and found something surprising: a passion for the ever-evolving world of fixed ops.
He started small, handing keys to valets and managing PDI, then worked his way up to becoming a recognized Service Advisor, even being named one of GM’s East of Lakes Region “Advisors to Watch.”
“I’ve always loved client-facing roles and helping teams improve. The auto industry gave me a chance to keep doing that, but with a whole new level of technology and opportunity.”
A client recently praised Gabriel on an install: ‘Gabriel is amazing! Very friendly, helpful, and great to work with.’

When he’s off the clock, Gabriel lives life full throttle. He’s a proud Ohio State football fanatic (O-H!) and spends his downtime outdoors or behind the grill.
