  • What is the DealerBuilt DMS next-generation platform?
    • It is a new clean, sleek, and modern user-friendly DMS designed to provide improved workflow, simplify daily tasks, and drive additional efficiency within your dealership, while porting over the rich functionality from our current DMS.
  • How do I get the DealerBuilt next-gen DMS platform at my dealership?
    • The plan is to roll out our next-gen DMS to all our dealers in phases, with Service being the first department to get it.
    • We are currently in beta.  Post beta, we will roll out to a subset of dealers for pilot to garner additional feedback.  If you would like to be added to the pilot list, please reach out to your Account Manager.
    • We will continue to keep you informed of our roll out plans and when it becomes generally available.
  • Is there a cost to upgrade to the next-gen platform?
    • No.  There is no cost to upgrade to the next-gen platform.
  • When will the next-gen platform be available for general release?
    • No date has been established yet.
  • What technical requirements are necessary to run the next-gen platform?
    • Dealers must be on our modern operating platform.  If you are not sure if you are on the modern operating platform, please contact your Account Manager.
  • Will my staff need training when our dealership receives the next-gen platform?
    • The next-gen platform of the DealerBuilt DMS is an evolution of our current system with a clean, sleek, and modern user-experience. While there are some enhanced features to the next-gen platform, it has been built to be intuitive and easy to use.  With that, we do not anticipate any additional training.
    • If, however, you would like additional on our current or next-gen platform, please reach out to your Account Manager.
  • What development is planned next for the DealerBuilt DMS next-gen platform?
    • Our plan is to eventually evolve all modules into a next-gen platform; most likely complete in phases.  We will move onto Parts next, followed by Sales, and finish up with Accounting.
